The jacaranda cometh
The Quad has been missing a very important presence for a while now … but not for much longer. The earth mounds give it away – yes, the jacaranda’s return is nigh. Our world-famous icon will also be joined by a new friend – a native flame tree. Stay tuned for more updates.

The multi-talented Jordan Raskopoulos was one of many highlights at last Friday’s TEDxSydney, and we had the pleasure of sitting down with her to play a few rounds of our very own Warhammer-inspired, 3D-printed Sydney Uni board game. You read that correctly – check it out.

With two novels to her name and a third underway, 23-year-old Sophie Hardcastle has a limitless appetite for writing and learning and has been rewarded with a highly prestigious new scholarship to study at the University of Oxford. Bravo, Sophie!

  • As you’ve probably noticed, Camperdown Campus is abuzz with construction activity. Take care when getting around, especially if you’re a phone zombie.

  • Over the exam period (19 June to 1 July), the Student Centre will be open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 8.30am to 2.30pm Saturday.
