Enhance your skills, build your future
  • Last chance to apply for a new online short course exploring cultural competence and Aboriginal culture. Get in quick – classes commence 13 March.

  • Organisational and communications skills workshops for Autism Spectrum disorders are being held on Thursday 16 March and Tuesday 21 March between 3 and 4pm. Email us to register your interest or find out more.

  • Interested in a design elective but not studying a creative degree? No worries – take a look at a host of subjects available to you, regardless of your major.

  • Registrations are now open for our new open online astronomy course. The six-week program will focus on computational approaches to problem solving.

Life outside the classroom

  • Join mentors and first-year students from across the University as they compete in the third annual Interfaculty tug-of-war on 8 March – a battle not to be missed!

  • Enjoy year-round on and off-campus perks with an ACCESS membership, your ticket to the University of Sydney Union (USU)’s events, parties and discounts.

  • Looking for a way to give back? Why not offer school students a helping hand with their studies? Join us as a Compass Outreach Volunteer. Applications close on Wednesday 15 March.

  • Do you have any great ideas on how to improve the job market for young people? Present your views at the 2nd ASEF Young Leaders Summit: Access to Youth Employment, in Seoul, Korea on 4-8 May 2017. Applications close 20 March.

  • Buying or selling, you don’t even have to venture off campus to get your fortnightly market fix. The USU Markets run every second Wednesday on Eastern Ave, with discounted rates for student stall-holders.
