Paving positive vibes
With exams on the horizon, we’ll use any excuse to de-stress on those sunny Law Lawns. Pull up a beanbag, grab some free popcorn and relax as we Pave the Way on 11 October. We’re aiming to raise funds for the areas in greatest need, from beating cancer to giving refugees a start. See how two generous parents got the ball rolling, creating cross- cultural opportunities on campus.
5 reasons postgrad study is worth it
In a world of innovation where our work landscape is constantly changing, we need to be able to adapt. Find out five advantages our master’s students gained by completing postgraduate studies, from building cross-cultural networks to gaining industry relevance. Join us in the Quad on Wednesday 12 October from 3 to 6.30pm to learn more about postgraduate study.
Academics share intoxicating ideas
Missed out on a spot at Raising the Bar? With a second round of tickets being released today, we tracked down four event speakers to give the low-down on their talks (and what they’ll be drinking on the night). From sexting and insider trading to LGBTIQ victories and sudden cardiac deaths they promise to compel with refreshing ideas.
Share your thoughts on Summer School to win a $500 voucher
We’ve got two $500 Co-Op vouchers looking for a good home. All we’re asking is for undergraduate students to complete a quick survey about our Summer/Winter School and one of them could be yours! That’s your textbooks sorted for the year.

Don’t forget, applications are now open so if you’re looking to avoid heatstroke and lighten your 2017 course load, enrol now.
