5 things to remember for exam time
It’s finally STUVAC and that means only one week until examinations begin. This time of semester can be stressful, but there’s no need to sacrifice your health – there are ways you can manage your stress and time. Vet student realises her pet-ential
Simone Armstrong is only in her second year of Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine double degree, but she’s already well on her way to a rewarding career. This year she was part of a group of students who travelled to the Northern Territory to de-sex and treat animals in remote Aboriginal communities. The experience allowed her to combine her interests in animals, rural Australia and Aboriginal education. Check out her story.
Students' virtual bookstore wins innovation challenge
A new style of teaching and learning is gaining popularity among University of Sydney students, with more than 400 students signing up to the Student Leadership Academy that was kick-started earlier this year. Meet the members whose bright ideas won over the judges in last week’s Dymocks Innovation Challenge final.

  • Don’t forget to get your calculator approved before exams by visiting the Student Centre, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm. You can read up on exam procedures here.

  • A lot has changed since 2006. Make sure your smoke alarms have too – outdated smoke alarms need to be replaced with the latest photoelectric alarms.
