Achieving career aspirations for all of our students is a top priority for our Business School. Our team of dedicated business career experts offer a specialised careers and employability service for every student across all of our degree programs. Our career support includes strong linkages into industry and our corporate partners are featured in as many of our events and services as possible.

NEXT Innovation Accelerator Program – semester 1 2018

The 'NEXT' Innovation Accelerator is a national work integrated learning experience supported by Deloitte, Westpac, IAG, and CSIRO. NEXT provides an opportunity for university students to step through a 12 week innovation accelerator program, gain real industry experience and essential professional skills.

NEXT is a for credit unit of study in the Masters of Commerce and Masters of Professional Accounting. Students are offered industry mentors, on-sight skills workshops, access to subject experts and the opportunity to pitch their innovations by Westpac, Deloitte, CSIRO and IAG.

The NEXT Innovation Accelerator will act as the catalyst for development of skills and attributes required to work in a globalised knowledge economy (innovation, teamwork, communication, critical thinking, intercultural working and leadership)

Strong selection criteria is critical for successful applications to the 2018 PASS Program

We want you give you the best chance to submit the highest quality application possible.

This workshop is specifically for PASS program applicants to learn more about writing high quality selection criteria and work through examples relevant to this particular job application.

Insights into Start-ups - Opportunities in Innovation

Insights into Startups is a series of panel events hosted by the Sydney Innovation Hub that seeks to educate students about the opportunities provided by start-ups and the intricacies of running or working for one.

Business Ethics Essay Competition
Submit an essay about ethics and you could win $1000!

The competition is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students who are studying a Business School degree or unit of study in 2017 and is proudly supported by the Natoli Ethics Fund.

Entries will be judged by a panel from The Business & Professional Ethics Group

Enactus University of Sydney

Flashback, a program for you to make a social impact!
Enactus ​is now developing a pilot program for our newly launched project, Flashback. We are seeking aspiring facilitators interested in working with and facilitating the elderly communities.  

Flashback​ is a program aims to provide a platform to facilitate social interactions and to encourage story sharing and creativity among the elderly communities.

Writing Workshops:
  • Location: The Brighton Retirement Village, Croydon (Approx. 30 minutes away from Redfern Station by train)
  • Session: one 2-hour-session per week for a total of 4 weeks
  • Time and start day: to be advised. (Session will start in approximately 3 weeks)

    Facilitator responsibilities
  • Encourage elderly participants to speak and write during activities
  • Facilitate a collaborative and warm group discussion environment
  • Encourage positive peer-review

    What we offer to the facilitator
  • Receive an internship certification from Enactus, detailing your contributions
  • Get hands-on experience in facilitating collaborative sessions
  • Make positive social impact through community involvement
  • Professional facilitator training provided by USYD Business School PASS Program
