Are you looking for extra-curricular activities to add to your resume?

Volunteering is awesome work experience and a great way for you to give back to your community!
Business School students thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at the Mother's Day Classic Fun Run last year and it's coming up again on Sunday 14 May 2017!

This year the Mother’s Day Classic turns 20 and they plan to celebrate in style! Volunteers are a crucial cog in the Mother’s Day Classic machine and played a vital role in our success over the last 20 years.

As a volunteer you will help out in a variety of ways from managing the cloak room or drink station, marshalling at the starts, or in the cheer squad on the course. If you are keen to participate in the fun and support breast cancer research by signing up to help out at the Domain (Sydney) or Parramatta Park (Western Sydney).

Sign up today to volunteer today!

Why not get your friends involved and spread the word about the Mother’s Day Classic - go to and share the volunteer registration tile on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Email.

What is the 40K Globe internship?

Interning in a team with six to eight other Globers, you’ll be intensely working over a month period to scope, implement and open a new 40K PLUS pod in a rural Indian village.

Awarded Australia’s most innovative social enterprise in 2016, 40K PLUS is an after-school education platform that utilises technology to provide primary-aged students living in rural India access to high-quality English education.

Currently spanning 20 villages and servicing over 1073 children, the PLUS platform has proven to extend English comprehension by 2.5 years when compared to students who have not attended PLUS.

In 2017, we’re looking to scale the platform to 1500 more children. 40K Globe is about joining a movement of young Australians who are actively providing access to quality learning in restricted environments across the world.
