NHMRC Peer Review Panels: self-nomination now open
The NHMRC is calling for people to self-nominate for membership of NHMRC Peer Review Panels for Project Grants. Calls for other NHMRC schemes are expected shortly.
Sitting on an NHMRC Panel is an unbeatable opportunity to get an insider’s view of the NHMRC grant assessment process. Previous and current Peer Review Panel members confirm that their own grant writing skills improved significantly through participation on these Panels.

We strongly encourage you to nominate yourself via RGMS. Consideration will be given to the following:
  • Panels are comprised of both experienced and new members
  • Experience as a researcher including success in NHMRC funding (or equivalent)
  • Experience in peer review roles – eg journals and other funding agencies
  • Professional and personal integrity
