Centres of Research Excellence (CRE) scheme 16 Jan deadline
The Centres of Research Excellence (CRE) Scheme is now OPEN for applications.

Applications for the NHMRC Centres of Research Excellence (CRE) scheme must be commenced by 16 Jan and completed by 20 Feb 2013.
The Centres of Research Excellence (CRE) Scheme is now OPEN for applications.
The 2013 round will provide support for teams of researchers to pursue collaborative research and develop capacity in clinical, population health and health services research
  • CRE in Clinical Research
  • CRE in Health Services Research
  • CRE in Population Health Research. 
In this year’s round, all applicants are required to commence their application and provide the specified minimum data in RGMS by Wednesday 16 January 2013 to allow the NHMRC to start sourcing reviewers with appropriate expertise. Applications initiated after this date will not be accepted.

Key Dates:

Wed 16th Jan 2013 - NHMRC minimum data requirements due
Wed 6th Feb 2013 - University of Sydney Internal closing date
Wed 20th Feb 2013 - NHMRC DEADLINE

Up to $75,000 funding for high priority, tactical research in the fish industry
Projects funded by the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation's Tactical Research Fund aim to take advantage of opportunities, avert threats or manage unforeseen events as they arise.
Projects funded by the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation's Tactical Research Fund aim to take advantage of opportunities, avert threats or manage unforeseen events as they arise. They are of a high priority to stakeholders and must be completed within 18 months

Applications close 15 Feb 2013.

This award is listed in the Australian Competitive Grants Register (ACGR) - research income Category 1 and the FRDC investment cannot exceed $75,000

Attend an online training session to get the most from Research Professional.
Online training in Research Professional will be held on Friday 14 December at 11am.

Open to anyone from University of Sydney, this webinar is aimed at introducing you to the basics of creating and configuring your personal account on Research Professional, as well as introducing the features of the platform.

You will be able to attend from your own computer and ask questions via text chat.
